when I make my final journey over the Rainbow Bridge!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is never easy to say that final goodbye to a cherished pet who has been a member of your family for years!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Give your Beloved cat or dog more comfort in his or her final moments!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Let your cat or dog know how much you love them, gently stroke them,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

whisper their name and reassure them that you will be with them to the end!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank your loving pet for all of their love to you throughout his or her years!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remember, Your pet does not want to die alone with a group of strangers!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Love your cat or dog enough to set them free when the time comes!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Be strong enough to hold you pet while the Vet and\/or Hospice Vet puts your Beloved pet to sleep!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gently<\/strong> Whisper the name of your pet,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

pet them, tell your pet you loved them<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

and that they were the Best Friend you ever had!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes we have to make the difficult decision to euthanize our pets when they are elderly or ill.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s a heartbreaking choice, but also a compassionate one.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

May I go?  May I go now?
Do you think the time is right?
May I say good-bye to pain-filled days

I’ve lived my life and done my best,
an example tried to be.
So can I take that step beyond
and set my spirit free?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I didn’t want to go at first,
I fought with all my might.
But something seems to draw me now
to a warm and loving light.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I want to go. I really do.
It’s difficult to stay.
But I will try as best I can
to live just one more day,<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

To give you time to care for me
and share your love and fears.
I know you’re sad and so afraid,
because I see your tears.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I’ll not be far, I promise that,
and hope you’ll always know
that my spirit will be close to you,
wherever you may go.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Thank you so for loving me.
You know I love you too.
That’s why it’s hard to say good-bye
and end this life with you.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

So hold me now, just one more time
and let me hear you say,
because you care so much for me,
