Imagine – The early 1950’s and 1960’s – Brooklyn, New York
where neighbors were talking to neighbors, kids jumping rope,
dancing in the streets, trips to Coney Island
all while five Brooklyn Italian talented teenagers
ran home from school each day eluding the mob who controlled the neighborhood,
putting aside their home work to devour their favorite Devil Dogs and Yankee Doodles
before harmonizing in the back allies prior to competing in a Talent Show
at the opulent Loew’s Oriental Theatre located at 86th Street near 18th Avenue,
where The Overons began their exciting career.
